Im doing P90X without following the nutrition guide, will i still see results?

I m eating healthy everyday, but i m not following the nutrition guide, will this affect the overall results after 90 days??
Also, when can i expect to see changes in my body?? after 3 weeks? 10 weeks?/

you may or you may not. it depends on your body. typically a person can cut to around 10% body fat without a proper diet as long as they’re getting plenty of cardio, but if you want to get anymore cut than that, you’ll need to follow a strict diet. this could take several weeks if not months to work for you. it’s a slow process and patience is the key.

DISCLAIMER + NOTES: Okay this video was made BASED on a US FDA 2k calorie diet. It does not recommend a 2k diet for everyone, because everyone are different, based on consumption, weight etc. So choose accordingly, in fact here’s a website to help you out on the rightful amount of nutrients calories, etc www.mypyramid.gov

In the video I’m pretty sure i said “BASED”, but somebody pointed out I said otherwise. So please, everytime you hear me say US FDA 2000 calorie diet, I meant to say BASED on that. Props to PrepeiNaSasPw for pointing it out!

Is it ok if i mix and match the meals. For example, have a tuna salad three times a week instead of once, or do you have to eat every meal as said to get the results.

Yeah, that’s fine. Can’t you do ground beef and cheap cuts of beef or whole chicken cut up for your protein?

the recovery drink after your workout.

I am doing the program at night before bed. am i better off not eating anything after or drink a protein shake after, which would be right before bed.

eating food before bed is bad because your body doesnt get the chance to burn that food off. the protein shake is deisgned as a ‘recovery’ drink. as in, it replentishes what is lost during the workout. it helps the muscles rebuild after you work them since protein is the major component of muscle. i also do the p90x at night and i have had no problems with having the protein shake in the evening after the work out. hope that helps.
