Could someone give me a unique workout routine and nutrition guide? I’d Really appreciate it!?

Thursday, December 17th, 2009

So I just turned 17 and am tall and skinny but have a fat around my chest and pecs.

So I need to put on weight to my arms and legs but lose it on my chest while toning it so what should I be eating?

I have creatine and protein powder ready

I’m on holidays so I work out everyday

Thanks you sooo much people

What you said really kind of defeates the whole perpose of doing what you want. You said you want to lose weight but you want to put it on. This is not exactly possible. You can’t isolate fat loss in certain parts of your body you either gain it all over or burn it all over. So you have to pic, gain wieght.. or lose it.
Do cardio to burn body fat, and like I said you can’t isolate fat loss so you just have to wait untill you lose enough fat to were it starts taking it off where you want it, which may or may not be right away.

You can weight lift to put some muscle on your legs which will in tunr bulk them up more.
However DO NOT USE CREATINE UNDER THE AGE OF 18! I have no idea where you got it at 17 years old. You can’t use that untill you are an adult because of hormone and health problems. Also Creatine does abosolutly nothing for you, I mean honestly just work out and do it yourself. Don’t take suppliments they are dangerous and bad for your health.
Just get a good protien powder that you like. However make sure it’s not soy protien, if it is throw it away because it’s useless. Only 44% of soy protien is absorbed into the body, as apposed to regular (whey, meat ect.) 88% is absorbed into the body.

Weight lift for 30-60 mintues a day at least 4 days a week. Do cardio at least 3 days a week for 30 mintues. (you can do it after a weight lifting session. LEAVE AT LEAST 1-2 DAYS OFF A WEEK WERE YOU DONT WORK OUT. Muscle needs time to build.
make sure you eat good carbs (whole wheat breads, don’t eat a lot of potatoes, eat brown rice instead of white etc) all dairy products should be low fat or non-fat, this is to prevent fat gain and promote development of lean muscle mass, and it’s just healthier. Also make sure you cut out a lot of sugars as well. And no soda and jiunk food.

Why is there no recomended amount of sugar in daily nutrition guides?

Sunday, December 13th, 2009

Anyone have recommendations for sugar intake? I have a big sweet tooth!

as little as possible, natural sugars exist in all sorts of food and things like honey etc. I empathize though, as i too have a sweet tooth.
