I volunteer at the hospital, nursing home, local tutoring center, library (I work with the kids), and YFU. I’m involved in a German club, knitting club, book club, volleyball team, kickboxing, cancer advocate (team captain), and take a dance class. I’m "home schooled" (actually more self taught…my mother can’t keep up with me haha). I’m highly self motivated.
What else can I do? What suggestions do you have? Please add any helpful information.
Thanks! (:

SlimJim: Haha! Thank you for giving me the benefit of the doubt. (:
I have done EVERY single one of those courses, my post is legitimate. I am truthfully seeking information and suggestions on what to do next. I am NOT under any circumstances trying to sound arrogant, etc.
‘You might look into something therapeutic that helps profoundly gifted kids relate to people in the "real world."’ Sorry, but I can’t agree with that statement. I do relate to people in the real world quite nicely actually.
Wow. You’ve really got it together. With all of those courses, and it’s just your freshman year, you’re doing amazingly well. I will warn you, though – don’t burn yourself out. I did the whole AP route in high school (although definitely not as expansive as yours!), and when I got to college, it became a whole new world. Make sure to have fun while you can.
As far as suggestions…I’d say go ahead and get your name on the Hopkins mailing list asap, try to schedule a campus tour, talk with admissions counselors, and really start looking at the admissions statistics..sometimes campuses will put average SAT and ACT scores for admission (or go to collegeboard.com for that info as well). I’d also look at studentsreview.com for just a general view of the college from a student point of view. What you may want to do is look at the course schedule in the catalog for Hopkins as well (should be somewhere on the school’s website), and see if there’s anything that you may want to look into in your studies.
Best of luck to you.
Holy cow yes! I’m home schooled too! That is a huge class load, esp for a freshmen. That looks like a great class schedule! (I could never keep up with that)

You are on a clearly scheduled path. Please be careful no to overload. You seem to have a very high intellectual desire to absorb information. Have fun volunteering, everyone loves to see smiles. Keep up the good work. God Bless!

Does that come off as sarcastic? I don’t mean it that way. You have 22 courses listed for your freshman year. 22 courses is about the average numbers of class credits on a standard high school diploma. Really, you need to relate to people better; if you had made a lot of grammatical errors in your post, and had not posted previously in biology, I would not have believed you at all. (I’m still not completely certain that your post is real, but giving you the benefit of the doubt.)
