    8oz of fruit juice …
8oz of fruit juice is not a good choice as a liquid for making a smoothie. Especially when adding in more fruit. 8oz of fruit juice far exceeds the amount of fruit servings needed in a day and most often has far more sugar than your body needs as well. Stick to soy milk, skim milk or water instead when making your smoothies

    One of my favorite …
One of my favorite breakfasts is squash, especially when it’s in season. Put it in a crock pot overnight, it comes out all warm, no cooking necessary, and then you can sprinkle cinnamon and maybe add a teaspoon of honey, some sunflower seeds, a teeny bit of salt… so good and low maintenance.
