Is it ok if i mix and match the meals. For example, have a tuna salad three times a week instead of once, or do you have to eat every meal as said to get the results.

Trust me the diets they have in that book you don’t have to follow and use the p90x myself and it works wonders just as long as you eat healthy and take in enough nutrients and no to many carbohydrates and not to much junk or no junk at all and you’ll be looking amazing

What you’re looking at in the Nutrition plan is the Meal approach. What you would probably want to follow is the Portion approach which really tells you the different kinds of foods you can select to have throughout your day.
Essentially you really want to eat 5-7 "mini meals" a day to sustain your metabolism to constantly burn fat. Also you’re building muscle which also burns fat too. Let me know if you have more questions.
