Protecting Your Home From Intruders

Take a trip 'round the internet.

Barking dog alarms are getting more and more popular with a lot of homeowners .  It’s your responsibility to secure your home in every way you can and there’s nothing scarier than seeing somebody break in your house . To deter burglars from entering your house, you need a reliable alarm that has the ability to monitor and sense movements  .

A lot of home security advisers will tell you that an alarm system with a barking sound works well in any type of home. A barking dog alarm provides convenience and ease of use because it has a remote control and can be plugged on a standard power outlet. It’s also very user friendly and requires no installation . It’s also maintenance-free so once you switch it on; it will do its job 24/7. Look for a waterproof unit so it can fully work even during wet season  .

What I find most appealing about the electronic barking dog alarm is that it does what the living and breathing watchdog cannot do—be active and alert for 24 hours. It never sleeps even if there is a power shortage as it commonly comes with backup power supply. You can adjust the radar sensitivity from 0 to 20 meters range. It’s so effective that it can detect movement even through thick walls and glasses.

Aside from using a barking dog alarm system  , you need to install solid wood or metal doors that can withstand blows from attempted burglary. For additional security, you can lock up your door hinges to the door frame with steel crews that are 3.5 inches in length. This will make your door stronger  . You might also want to consider installing a door brace.

What about your windows? The solution is to use security window films. They provide protection by adding an extra and unexpected layer of defense against thieves attempting to shatter a window. The person who is trying to break in may able to smash through after several attempts but it would require numerous noise-producing efforts. You still have to be cautious even if there are security systems installed in your home. Take a few minutes each day to make sure everything is in check.
