    thank you for your …
thank you for your video and such comprehensive information. do you have suggestions for people 50+ who don’t cook? We are having a very difficult time with menu ideas and finding things to eat from our grocery store and restaurants as we do not cook… our children are grown, there is just the two of us, we don’t want to spend time in the kitchen. Other than fresh fruit and prepared veggies, the frozen vegetables that are microwaveable, we must rely on frozen entrees and salads. HELP please!

I wish to know more about how you can prepare balanced meals on your own. Don’t know a lot of sources of protein. And how much protein and carbs etc should be eaten.

    Don’t matter which …
Don’t matter which country you live in. You will still be affected by pollution, agriculture and politics. I live in the UK and we get the same diseases, bugs and foods as do the Americans. Some are just disguised better.

    I agree. I moved …
I agree. I moved from Asia to the states, and I did feel the food was way too sweet at the beginning. But then I got used to the taste over time ( not a good thing).
There processed foods are definitely sweeter than they should be. But even some “whole food” were sweeter than they are in other places. They can inject sweetener into fruits or even genetically modify them to make them sweeter. I bought an apple in the supermarket that was sprayed with grape flavoring….

    Thanks for your answer.

    Perhaps they mean …
Perhaps they mean the fast food and/or processed foods. I’ve never had a whole food that was “too sweet”. Perhaps, just sweet enough such as a piece of fruit. Also, High Fructose Corn Syrup is present in a lot of our processed foods and breads.

    I live in europe, …
I live in europe, but some people I know very closely were in the USA, and they told me every food is too sweet there. Noe this may sound as subjective, but as I asked around too many people reported the same. My question is, if it is true, what makes most american food products sweet (even bread) or excessively sweet? Thank for any answers. Oh and by the way why are mineral waters forbidden to be shown as healthy in USA?

  15. eydos says:

    Well, what I dont …
Well, what I dont understand is, why dont we just eat normal traditional food, vegetables, fruit, meat and thats all. Why do we need tablets in plus?

  16. EllenRebecca3 says:

    Hooray!! I’m so …
Hooray!! I’m so glad to hear what you said about eggs and I KNEW they weren’t bad for you, it’s bleedin’ obvious once people think about it: They’re not high in fat, they’re a complete protein, so why the daft idea that they’d raise cholestrol?? Bonkers! :-D 5/5 stars for this great video.

    Great to hear …
Great to hear Larger Perspective and education on challenging numerous sources. Whole foods are great. Processes carbs are bad including alcohol (outside of occasional moderation),, absorbed as sugar. I wonder if the seeming consensus that the “other end of the spectrum” is bad by causing heart disease and cancer ( i.e. red meat) ?

  21. cuttingdiet says:

    suarez976, to …
suarez976, to answer you last bit, Sugars are Carbohydrates (same thing)… ‘Sugars’ are just a more rapidly absorbable carbohydrate (high GI), which is why people always say stick to low hi (complex) carbohydrates, so the energy is released at a steady rate.. Hope I’ve helped answer your questions!

  22. cuttingdiet says:

    Processed sugar is …
Processed sugar is bad for you because it raises your blood-sugar levels too quickly, then your pancreas releases insulin to lower it. This yo-yo effect can cause many problems. Unlike processed sugar, the sugar in fruit comes along with the pulp, enzymes, vitamins and minerals. This allows the body to use the sugar as energy more slowly as it was designed to do (no isulin spike). It’s really the delivery of the sugar that defines good or bad. Stick to fruit and complex carbs and your good :)

    Great video.

    The …
    Great video.

The one question I still have is why is sugar in fruit good for you, and refined sugar bad for you? I know you and Natalie have already talked about sugar a lot, but I still don’t get this. Has this already been explained? Perhaps I missed it. I mean, you do need to eat some carbohidrates, so what kind of carbohidrates are good and what kind of them are bad, and why is that? Is it that when yoy eat sugar you eat too much carbohidrates?

  24. ToolsnFire says:

    In that case go …
In that case go with foods or tonics that are still progressive, but more moderate in detoxing effect, besides sustainable foods.
On that second point, awareness of your body and what other people have legitimately found to be ‘true’ will influence the direction and understanding you should employ for your best health.
